Program Manager

At the intersection of product development, support, customer success, product management and business development is program management. We’re looking for a dynamic individual that will take a leadership position in the end-to-end management of our SaaS product creation, deployment and successful operation to millions of clients of financial institutions. You’ll liaise with internal and external stakeholders, negotiate & manage deliverables and drive all parties toward shared success. If you’re the type eager for growth, opportunity and increased responsibility, this is the role for you. Although initially you’ll be the only dedicated program manager, we’re expecting you to be able to build a team that can manage our expanding list of products, deployments and operations.

What you’ll do here:

  • Plan, develop and manage scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, and timing for new initiatives by directing a cross-functional team with accountability for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
  • Communicate with the customer management team and our internal management team about project and program status, KPIs, progress, risks, and changes.
  • Manage project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate cross-project initiatives.
  • Identify and manage delivery of key requirements needed from external teams and vendors.
  • Provide insights on areas of opportunity across multiple projects
  • Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks.
  • Ensure projects are delivered following internal and external regulations required by the organization and the environment (SOC2, Security requirements, etc)
  • Ensure proper documentation for projects and formal communication with the customer, ensuring traceability. This includes (projects SoWs, change requests, acceptance, etc.)
  • Ensure the quality of service is held to the desired standard after delivery.
  • Conduct post-mortems on projects and propose actions and work with internal and external stakeholders to improve outcomes.
  • Navigate roadblocks and ensure strong relationships are built with customers.
  • Act as Scrum Master for internal development teams.
  • Coach and mentor team members in project related matters.

You are:

  • A hands-on, detail oriented manager with proven ability to affect positive outcomes through influence and negotiation.
  • An excellent communicator both orally and written.
  • Very good at French and English (written and spoken)
  • Self-organized with the ability to organize and direct the work of others.
  • A person who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced start-up environment. Where others see challenges, you see opportunity
  • Agile enough to adapt to different customer environments – structures, processes & cultures.
  • Curious and passionate about learning.
  • Familiar with project management tools & methodologies.
  • Able to both accept and provide continuous feedback to and from everyone you work with.
  • Experienced in managing multiple work streams for multiple projects in both agile and waterfall environments.
  • Proactive and driven to excellence.
  • Equipped with:
  • 4+ years as a Program Manager or Project Manager in a technology setting (software development) as a provider to an external client.
  • 4+ years experience working in or with a large organization (in the financial industry will be an asset).
  • 1+ year of practical experience in Agile Projects.
  • An undergraduate degree in engineering or business; MBA a plus
  • Preference given to those with formal project or program management training
